66 years, Still building.
Today we honour the courage of those who won Nigeria's freedom. But independence was only the beginning. Completing that work takes accountable, inclusive and participatory democracy, the work belongs to every citizen.
Happy Independence Day, Nigeria.
Nigeria's CRA 2003 predates today's digital platforms. The NDPA and Cybercrimes Act help, but a coherent child-rights framework for the digital space is still needed. JRI's Director of PCJ, Mrs Foluso Idumu urged the stakeholders committee to treat closing these gaps as urgent.
Collaboration is key to securing the Nigerian child's digital future. JRI joined Ministry of Justice, CRA at 23. We're pushing for a comprehensive digital child-rights framework, grateful to Luminate Foundation for supporting this advocacy. A safer digital spaces for children.
Protecting Africa's children online isn't about locking them out of the digital world — it's about building it to protect them from the start.

What freezes capital faster than a bad market? Sudden shifts in the law.
Unpredictable rules and weak courts act as a tax on investment. Capital always flees uncertainty.
