Great thread by Jason on the @truahrabbisenablement of pro-rapist @VOCALNewYork. But what is shocking is who is supporting them! https://t.co/zBzLyTiAej
Why, @UJAfedNY?
No one has more contempt for Soho, capitalism, Ashkenazim, and whites than the progressive YIMBY steel & real estate heir that founded this organization.

In one of NYC’s (and America’s) wealthiest neighborhoods, residents are trying to block 123 deeply affordable homes for LGBTQ seniors.
The question is, who will the Adams administration listen to?

@SethBarronNYC@ZohranKMamdani That was 2023 I believe. But as Brad Lander likes to say, we need to look forward not backward.
Look at all of our "allies" alongside Mamdani!
And DoubleDees is making kiddush!
@Spokoiny Ben probably just wants to help Park Slope stop being a little too...you know...
And I'm sure Shahana is willing to help!

@westsideco_org@informnyc@myceeta@UWSGMA326@fuelgrannie@westsiderag@Gothamist@MarkLevineNYC Guys, let me clear up some of this confusion: It was only Sara’s campaign manager Quinn Mootz and her OpenNY colleague Ben Thypin who agreed the UWS was too white and too Jewish. Not Sara.
I’m sure Sara wants to rezone the UWS for completely different reasons. It’s totally fine
@Spokoiny It's worth it to watch who has defended JFREJ when mainstream J groups have denounced them. Most of this list are other JFREJ members. But there are others, and they are enabling them.

It should be noted that not only is Douglas Powell convicted, but he remains unrepentant, blaming the judge, not his abhorrent predatorial, pedophile behavior. None of this matters to orgs @truahrabbis or @jfrejnyc.
We expect nothing from @NYCprogressives who regularly seek Douglas Powell’s expertise on housing policy.
But we do expect the mainstream Liberal Jewish community to note this normalization and Yiddish-washing of the cruelest predatory behavior, and to say in a unified voice to these far-Left Pharaohs, #NotInOurName!
I repeat: Many of the offenses people mindlessly categorize as “non-violent” are only “non-violent” because no one tried to intervene. The reality is that many “non-violent” crimes are very much backed by the threat of violence—one offenders are often willing to make good on.
