Red is only obviously right under a purely selfish, individual-survival framing (pure game theory). If you’re optimizing for humanity’s overall survival (or your family’s collective fate), blue is the more rational choice
Obviously red would be the right button to push, except for the fact that children get to vote privately too. I’m not voting red if there’s a chance my toddler has randomly voted blue. I think that gets you a pretty large and solid vote for blue.

The hyperscalers will keep the lights on for the masses, but the real winners in 2026–2028 are the ones who front-run and own their AI factories. Inference & fine-tuning are the volume game now, memory/storage are the new oil, and shortages are only getting tighter. Get modular, get on-prem/colo where it makes sense, lock in hardware, and you’ll be the one with capacity while everyone else is begging for cloud slots at premium rates.
BREAKING: Oracle and OpenAI have scrapped plans to expand their flagship Stargate AI data center in Abilene, Texas after financing talks dragged and OpenAI’s needs shifted.
