@BouletAnnette Perhaps like the health food movement we are seeing. For many years, McDonalds was the place to go. Now, however, people demand healthier options and McDonalds must supply nutritional information. Suddenly, we see better, healthier options offered, such as Greek salads.

In regards to the Disney monopoly, I believe with great power comes great responsibility. I also believe that with the current movement towards equality and multi-culturalism, if Disney doesn’t embrace their responsibility they will ultimately lose power. #educ307 #lesson11

@MichMoryoussef As a mom of two girls, I suddenly feel very conflicted. They love nothing more than their Disney princesses. But I don’t want them to subconsciously accept the stereotypes embedded in them. I’ll allow it. But be sure to show them realistic alternative views too.
