@Barry_Verdin Morning Barry... me againπ is the cut-off for our B329 EMA noon or midnight tomorrow? I can't see a time indicated on the assessment page. Thanks in advance!
Hi @Barry_Verdin - wondering if you could help. For our B329 EMA, would you be satisfied to read just 1 strength and weakness about a leadership style if they are clarified in depth with examples, citation and critical reflection? Do you recommend discussing more than 1 of each?
For WK 6, I found it challenging to pinpoint the concepts which resonated most with me for my TMA. I conducted an interview on a young precarious worker which was surprisingly very inspiring, and I think it will enhance my future leadership style #OUB329
Reflecting on leadership for social change #WK17 there are SO many bad habits arising from social change. It's easy to get lost in the positive module content! Post-lockdown, coffee shops are super appealing but will increase single-use plastic waste. Must. Stop. Buying. Coffee!!
Thank you to those who took the time to respond to my polls. Unfortunately, all statements are true and reveal the shocking side to the fashion and textile industry. We can all do our bit by reusing rather than wearing an outfit once or twice and giving into the next big trend!
True or false: more than 50% of fast fashion clothes will be discarded within one year of purchase thanks to fast-moving trends.
(I will release the answer at a later stage)
True or false: the equivalent of one bin lorry full of clothes is burned or dumped in a landfill every second
(I will release the answer at a later stage)
I also thought place-based leadership was an interesting topic because it's extremely specific to each area and dependent on the goings-on of that area at a specific time. What works at one time and place cannot be 'copied and pasted' to another. #WK14@B329Leadership
