@ProFootballMax@n_in_co@JuzMaintain@doogadoo11 there's pot holes all over the city and it's worse than where I go to school temporarily in Cleveland Ohio which says a lot, and we don't have bad weather for us to be having that excuse.
they do and they hav the money but they are wasting all of it on non profits, corruption, and I've seen it all, the person who is the head of the department of water and power is getting paid 800k a year instead of the standard 300k a year which is already really high, there's no justification for that increase other than corruption. They've poured billions into homelessness, they house a few people and do everything to make it worse all while saying they are improving homelessness when the average cost to house someone is 200k, they are creating even 600k units for homeless people, I don't think people understand what they are voting for. The problem with politics is it's turned into like a loyalty for sports teams where no matter what people will support their party no matter how much of a disservice they do to the their own constituents, and some people will resist but not nearly enough needed for change.
@GrantMa25066011 it just doesn't seem he has as good as a chance as Caruso and I'm upset at him for not rerunning he would've probably won in the primary imo
Finish out your career with the Lakers, something tells me too next year won't be the last, the reason I say this is because I just feel like he's not going to give up until he really can't play anymore, he's still a good player he still won a playoff series he had no business winning, and I know the thunder series was bad, but tbh like it was such an unfair and poorly officiated series it didn't matter what we did.
@NBATRADERUMORS8 Here's the thing I'd believe this but the Mavericks don't have control of their own draft pick so it doesn't make sense for them to not try to compete for a playoff spot.
Let me explain the issue with the city of LA and why I have a problem with it, essentially the city council controls too much of the area of Los Angeles in comparison with a lot of other major cities in the US, I moved from LA to Cleveland Ohio temporarily, is Cleveland perfect it definitely is not, but the reason it's getting better is because each neighborhood essentially is run through it's own city, or at least most neighborhoods are, in LA there are cities that are separate from the city of Los Angeles however not all of them are, and these include Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and others, these neighborhoods however are all affected by the policies of the LA city government and they have zero voice in changing the issues that affect their respective neighborhoods, this is why I'd advocate for Brentwood, Westwood, and the Pacific Palisades to have their own cities, regardless of republican or democrat these people are not going to tolerate the mess the city of LA is spreading across the whole county.
I think with the right campaigning, advertisements, messaging, he can win, I think if you were to take the names of the parties of the candidates and put the messaging of what these people promote and what they want, I think 80% of the people of LA support Prat, I just think a lot of voters in LA don't know that they do, they think Prats agenda is Bass's agenda, and many just blindly vote for candidates who hate trump without any reasoning of anything to do with the issues of the city.
It doesn't, there's a high likelihood those people sit out in this race, the thing that's going to matter in this race is turnout, and the reason that matters is because Pratt's base is still made up of a lot of family style democrats who typically vote in midterm elections, so if those people go vote I don't doubt in my mind that he's got a shot.
There's a large part of the city that as someone who grew up in LA has never really been to or seen, and I'm saying this because those people are the ones who are mostly electing people like Bass and Garceti that are completely out of touch with the actual LA lifestyle and what it means.
@RevRayCistman Thank you for giving me a reason to vote for Spencer Pratt, we need to fund public safety for a better LA, the only people that doesn't benefit are the criminals.
