Will Stein's halftime speech in Kentucky's win over LSU.
"They don't want to play with you. They don't like getting hit in the f**king mouth. I like it f**king gritty and f**king dirty."

In all the excitement of that LSU win, I almost forgot how massive that night was for Kentucky recruiting.
You had Kellan Hall—the No. 1 DL in the 2028 class—back in Lexington as UK reportedly moved from favorite to overwhelming favorite. Kentucky native Grayden Reid, a top-10 2028 CB, got to see Kroger Field at its absolute best with the Cats pushing against Oklahoma in that race.
Then there was Josiah Boyd, Rivals’ No. 2-ranked 2028 QB, watching a Will Stein offense knock off a top-10 LSU team in overtime. That is about as strong of a selling point as it gets with Oregon and UCLA in the mix.
In 2027, Vanderbilt commit Allen LA Evans was on campus while UK continues working to flip the highly ranked corner. And the current commits got to experience why this feels different:
Kelsey Gerald called it “the turning point of Kentucky football.”
Brady Hull said the standard is being raised and Kentucky is coming “to be the best.”
Drew Williams said the atmosphere and culture are unlike anything else.
A field-rushing win over LSU is more than one great Saturday night. It is a recruiting event that can change the trajectory of the program.
Red Dawn had every kid in 1984 turning their neighborhood into a battlefield. Bikes, BB guns, forts… we weren’t scrolling, we were “at war” till the streetlights came on.
