The Braves had the Profar money and more prospect capital than they've had as a contender in long time. They've had an obvious need to bolster the rotation since November. Thought for sure this was the year they would make a big splash. But instead, they've left plenty of room to second guess.

I just don't know how you take Alex Anthopoulos as a serious GM anymore. Starting pitchers were moved left and right, and you couldn't get one, despite constantly talking about it being the biggest need.

22 games over .500, great/talented team in the middle of the core, actually decent prospect depth to deal from, and nothing. Braves BY FAR the biggest losers at the trade deadline. A total failure from the GM

If you're a real Braves fan you knew ahead of time AA was not going to sign Skubal. The Braves don't go after big deals. In the last 20 years BJ Upton, and Marcel Ozuna were the two biggest contracts they signed. It's frustrating now especially knowing they have money to spend.
