@hmkyale@JACCJournals The information asymmetry is not eroding. Do you even see patients? Have a patient try to explain and understand the gravity of their situation? Ai is inadequate to achieve that.
@FutureJurvetson@hubermanlab@X Steve - you’re a legend, but you’re not being super thoughtful about your sentiment. I can give you about 30-35 reasons why medicine isn’t a perfectly curated clinical vignette
@AviBittMD People are just not being thoughtful about this whole topic of replacement in medicine. Same goes for job replacement in non-medical areas. There will be dislocations, sure, no shit, but there is no evidence that people like Andrew Yang are gonna be spot on about this
@operationdanish@chrissyfarr@RealDoctorMike He wants great quality evidence to be the basis of high stakes claims . Not too much to ask from leaders in the field. It’s not a nuanced thing, it’s an expectation
@dotkrueger@wpoel This may be one of the most thoughtless takes I have ever seen. I can tell you have no clue what a teacher or a physician does. Teaching and diagnosing are only a fraction of the job
@mattpavelle@doctronic This study is a phat nothing burger. Finding the diagnosis is maybe 20% of a physicians job. The notes that you clamor are that a physician writes poorly is partially done in a way to avoid them getting sued, it’s not geared towards medical specificity.
