Summer is almost over. Last month, we went to the movies to see Twisters after hospital visits and loss. It was the only way to travel virtually home this year. I'm glad they made a 2nd film. And, it featured my hometown! I miss red dirt roads, pickup trucks, and thunder!

In academia, especially in subjects that usually do not study neurodivergency, we need more open conversations on how to support PhDs who might need additional support. For me, it was an emotional process to get tested. I still stress about the stigma of being different.
