Fair enough, and I do think we can safely reduce our population. But TFRs of 1.2 etc compound very fast! A cohort becomes 1/3 in just two generations. Can automation keep up with that speed?
Banger tweet.
I've always wanted GoK to rebuild Kerala Bhasha Institute from scratch; empower it to continuously document, standardize & add Malayalam equivalents for modern scientific, technological & cultural terms. Should also update the script to ease usage in smartphone era.
Ideally jālaśṛṅkhalā should be used (if I was incharge of making the word)
If it hasn't been used, whoever is in charge of modern day Malayalam word invention has become hella lazy.
Internet is definitely the most common usage unfortunately.

Indian OEM CEOs should spend less time doing tau-style good for nothing bachchodi on social media and more time on R&D building products that actually work in India.
Got chatting with this e-auto driver. The product has a range of 100 km and takes 3.5 hours to fully charge. An average Indian auto operates 240–280 km a day, so the driver has to allocate 4–5.5 hours just for charging. Because of this, the driver ends up working 14–16 hours to make the same margins a CNG auto driver earns while working 9–10 hours.
How will we achieve widespread zero-emission vehicle adoption if we don’t build vehicles for the local context?

IAF doesn't have enough fighter squadrons. Blame HAL, DRDO, NAL, ADA, MoD, PMO etc. Fine. Fair.
It is also short of AWACS, Refuellers, Heavy cargo aircraft, Airborne EW, ISR, bombers and a few other items.
Who gets the blame for it?
What do they have enough of? Radars, short to medium range SAMs and Networked systems. All fully or partially indigenous.
Who gets the credit for it?
Modern warfare is about systems, not individual platforms. Rafale lobby presents it as a silver bullet (like they did with Mirage, Mig-29, Su-30 and many others), but integrating a French aircraft with a mix of Indian, Russian, Israeli and American is not an easy task and often sub-optimal. No one shares source codes and allows integration of other hardware easily or for cheap.
It is impossible to trust anyone who knows all this and is still supporting more imports. Make a list and take everything they say with a pinch of salt from now on. More so for people for or working on behest of sarkari machinery or if they start singing ToT ToT.
There is no ToT from anyone, ever.
The most under reported part of this story is the Water Electrolyte. Lithium batteries use organic solvents that can explode if the battery is punctured. Cos our scientists are using water, we could theoretically hit these grid scale batteries with a sledgehammer & they would not catch fire. For a country like ours with high ambient temperatures, water batteries are the only way to store solar power in the desert/crowded cities w/o needing massive, expensive cooling systems.
@bitcoinmalayali@Kotravan20@RishiJoeSanu Can't India build a national water grid? One side of the country faces drought when other faces flood. Can't we balance it out via interconnected canals and fix both problems?
