But agressive work towards getting kids to school really does help a lot of kids. Not all. But many will get in the building, find something they like or just get to work and turn out alright

Plenty of these kids could meet the graduation requirements if they acrually showed up.

About 7,500 of these students do not graduate.

Meanwhile the district is spending a lot of money per pupil just for parents to not even get their kids there.

But you've gotta look at some of the numbers on chronic absenteeism around the country. The city district near me has almost no students that dont miss at least 10 percent of school
