Hi Andy, what happens if you don’t have the 3 years tax returns and are recently self-employed ? I watched the press briefing but didn’t hear anything on this point?
This feels about right given the number of people who have been contacting me since the announcement. Surely there is a case for a standard payment to all self-employed, whatever their circs? Hope @RishiSunak will consider this.
Yesterday I highlighted that those who have become self employed since April 2019 will not qualify for the grant of up to £2500 a month. The Chancellor said they would need to claim universal credit if their income collapses. But this is not much of a...
