Let's put the Hunter Biden stuff in perspective. Forget about the gun charges for now, just look at the tax stuff.

In September Hunter pleaded guilty to various tax evasion charges. Not no contest, he didn't fight the charges, he pleaded guilty to three felonies and six misdemeanors. He was looking at a maximum of 17 years in federal prison.

His sentencing was coming up later this month. Obviously he wasn't going to get 17 years but he was definitely going to federal prison for some time.

Why would he plead guilty? We all know why, because his father was always going to pardon him. Even though Joe Biden was doing what he does best, bolding lying, claiming he wouldn't pardon his son. By pleading guilty and getting the case over with quickly, it allowed the MSM and President Biden to dismiss Trump's claims that the cases against him were politically motivated. "Nobody is above the law!"

It was all campaign strategy. The clowns in the MSM and Democrat party who actually claimed that President Biden was going to let his son go to prison because he believes in the rule of law so much are very dumb, very dishonest, or both.

If he had won the election, Biden would have pardoned his son and then continued on with the lawfare against Trump, until Trump ended up in prison.

BTW, look at what Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to and think about how many people have gone to jail for a long time for much less. The Biden family does not go to jail. Joe Biden's close family members have been arrested at least nine times over the years. Everything from fraud to resisting arrest to drug possession. Zero days spent in jail.
