Today I issued an Executive Order designating “Seminole Wind” by John Anderson as the official anthem of Florida.

I have also directed the @FLSecofState to erect historic markers in the City of Apopka depicting John Anderson’s contribution to Florida’s heritage.

In addition, I have tasked @FLDEPNews to work with the @SJRWMD to designate wildlife drive and trail system within Lake Apopka North Shore as the John Anderson Wildlife Drive and Trail System.

Bend, Oregon man who shot and killed a shooter at his daughters' school speaks out, praises female teacher for fighting the shooter, allowing him to have a clear shot.

Kaylub Giamanco says he is haunted by the sound of children pleading for their lives.

He also praised the teacher for grabbing the gunman's weapon, allowing him to take a shot at the shooter.

"I want to recognize [the teacher]. She gave me the opportunity to make my shot without losing my life..."

"I swung the door open, and I stepped in, and I fired, and they dropped to the ground... I looked down at the gunman, and he was scrambling for his weapon. And I looked at him, and I shot him 2 more times..."

In 1952, a Marine lieutenant bought a small Mongolian mare from a young Korean stable boy for $250. The boy sold her because he needed money to buy an artificial leg for his sister.

The Marines named her Reckless, after their recoilless rifle platoon.

Her job was to carry heavy ammunition up steep hills to the guns. The Marines trained her to step over barbed wire, lie down under fire, and run into a bunker when shells started falling.

She learned fast. She also learned to eat everything: scrambled eggs, pancakes, Coca-Cola, beer, chocolate bars, and once, reportedly, a pile of poker chips.

In March 1953, during the Battle for Outpost Vegas, Reckless proved what she was made of.

In a single day, she made 51 trips up and down the mountain, mostly alone, carrying thousands of pounds of shells through enemy artillery fire. On the way back down, she often carried wounded Marines.

She was hit by shrapnel twice. She kept going.

The Marines promoted her to sergeant, then staff sergeant. She was awarded two Purple Hearts.

After the war, she came to America, lived at Camp Pendleton, and had foals of her own.

Life magazine named her one of America's 100 greatest heroes, alongside people like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

When I saw the 'maroon and gold' face mask, I knew we had found Brian Cole Jr. Many months ago, during my first long sit-down interview with Brian's mother, I asked her if Brian typically wore a white N95 mask during the COVID era. (Like the actual J6 b*omber was wearing.) She said, "Oh no! Brian hated the way those felt on his face. I made his masks for him." She made masks for the whole family and friends, in all kinds of fabric patterns, including the team colors of the then-named "Washington Football Team." (2020-2021 was the interim period after the local NFL franchise had abandoned the "Redskins" and before they became the "Commanders.")

When I showed Brian's mother this screenshot of the mask he was wearing on the night of J5, 2021, she started crying. She knew that was her son.

🚨UPDATE!🚨 - Brian Cole Jr's grandmother (Loretta Cole) just phoned me, saying the jacket her grandson was wearing in this video is the exact jacket she'd given him for Christmas, only two weeks prior. That explains the tag still hanging from the jacket. @FBI should be able to get that purchase record from Kohl's immediately. Loretta recalls making that purchase, along with other gifts, using her Kohl's credit card.
