Eat a mouthful of grass and you get nothing. It goes in green and comes out green.

The cow is not competing with you for food. She eats the ninety percent you cannot.

I never liked that “confidence comes from evidence” quote from Hormozi. It implies that someone without past accomplishments cannot reasonably choose to be confident in themselves. It’s is not only untrue but also quite fallacious— beginners are the ones with the least evidence to draw from, yet they are the ones who need confidence most in order to begin accumulating that evidence in the first place.

Anyone can choose to be confident, at any moment, without evidence or reason, by surrendering to God and embracing their divine assignment. In fact, the mfs to be reckoned with are the ones who persist DESPITE lacking evidence. There is no logical basis for their mania. They don’t need social proof because God lit a fire in them that no one else could see. Unshakable confidence comes from having trust in God and your existence is the evidence.
