@Generalkidd@WindowsCentral Sure, I use a laptop at work, general productivity (emails, office, teams) and entertainment is just as good on a laptop, even light coding, but even at work I’d just wish I had a good desktop with a powerful GPU & lots of RAM. Could get a lot more done and much more efficiently
@Generalkidd@WindowsCentral Desktop: Heavy Gaming, Rendering, LLM’s, Mining, Coding, Video Editing & Encoding, CAD/Design/Engineering, VM’s, Docker/Containers, WSL/Subsystems, Homelabs/Servers/NAS’s etc.
@Generalkidd@WindowsCentral Though most people don’t care about the games, they care whether it runs Revit, Autodesk, Swift, CrowdStrike, etc. Which the Co-Pilot + PC’s never did either.
@Generalkidd@WindowsCentral Entirely agree, it was laughable when they said prism could run games, then couldn’t even run something as simple as Minecraft at the start, let alone something with AntiCheat.
@HaydenKirkNZ@k1rallik Games, who cares about games.
People care more the fact that this won’t run programs like Autodesk products, or Revit, Quickbooks, SWIFT, Siemens, Crowdstrike, or really any Enterprise software that keeps the world running.
@SirJosephWindsr@neonepiphany Half the time some of the game art doesn’t even appear at all.
These GFWL titles have never even shown the game art in the first place.
Then sometimes it shows on my Xbox console, but not on the Xbox App.
@AustonStachews I don’t get it, the first guy got 15 points in the entire playoffs, the other is the current leader in scoring in the entire league. Not even comparable
@BHennzz1006@BuffaloSabres Toronto fan so opinion invalidated.
Torontos hockey franchise would kill to have a goalie like UPL, and that’s saying a lot.
