RIP. Will never forget what Dolly told me about politicians. "I don’t think any of ‘em are trying hard enough... they worry more about their party than they do about the people. If we just do what we felt was the right thing... None of them are working from the heart." 💙
It’s hard to imagine many people having a bigger impact than Dolly Parton. Born in a one-room cabin, she earned 11 Grammys and an Emmy, built a business empire, helped millions of kids learn to read, and — as if that wasn’t enough — helped accelerate the research that led to the Moderna COVID vaccine. What a life. Michelle and I are thinking of Dolly’s family and her many, many fans.

Dolly Parton was one of the great entertainers of our era. She was not only a talented musician & songwriter, but a lifelong philanthropist and advocate for literacy, education, LGBTQ+ rights, healthcare and disaster relief.
Her music and humanity touched millions. She will be sorely missed.
Dolly Parton's free book gifting program was such a profound gift. No one asked for it. She just sent books to kids all over the US and elsewhere. My children loved receiving their "dolly books." An act of pure generosity that meant so much to so many families.
5/DOJ has authority to act but they seem to be asleep at the wheel. Of course, DOJ’s investigations aren’t always public, but given this administration’s love of the tweet, it’s reasonable to expect they’d be taking credit if they were doing something. More here: https://t.co/TABKog8OO8
Ossoff: They hunted the vice president to kill him. They built a gallows on the Capitol lawn. They assaulted police officers with flagpoles and bear spray, and they tried to seize the presidency for Donald Trump.
And to this day, Mike Collins supports that violent attempt to overturn the election. He honors and defends them. He went to visit them in jail.
Mortgage rates are way up. Home construction is down. Rents are astronomical. All of this is worse since Trump took power, because of the tariffs and the Iran War.
It's hard to know what planet, let alone what housing market, JD Vance is living in, to be able to make such out-of-touch claims with a straight face.
