Proud to have presented our work on the first miRNA expression profile in Lebanese RCC at the 3rd National Research Day.
Lebanese University chose to host when many would have cancelled. That made the day all the more special.
Looking forward to continuing this project!
Just joined the GHHS Advisory Council. As a recent grad from Lebanon, I never imagined finding my way into a space like this. Humanism in medicine hits different when you’ve trained under real pressure. Proud to represent and excited to contribute!
Just completed my Scholarly Concentration Track project: "Exploring the impact of Myeloproliferative neoplasms on Quality of Life". So grateful for this opportunity, and a huge thank you to Dr @ImanAboudalle for her mentorship!🤍🩺
Recently completed my SCT journey at AUB. Hard to put into words how much the process taught me. Not just the science, but learning how to think through a problem, work with a team, and sit with uncertainty. Grateful to Dr. Rihab Nasr and all the lab for making this so special!

Healthcare doesn't reach everyone equally, especially in Lebanon. That's exactly why we're building this.
Proud to share that our project just received the AΩA 2026 Service Leadership Grant.
"Care Where It's Needed Most."🤍

Happening now #AACR:
Phase 1 trial results for a therapeutic mRNA vaccine for pancreatic cancer, led by MSK physician-scientist Dr. @TheVinodLab, included 16 patients who received the investigational vaccine called autogene cevumeran after #pancreaticcancer surgery, along with an immunotherapy drug (called a checkpoint inhibitor) and chemotherapy.
Key takeaways:
🟦 Vaccines were custom-made for each patient based on unique signatures of their tumors.
🟦 In 8 patients, the vaccine activated tumor-specific immune cells, meaning the vaccine taught the immune system to recognize tumor cells as foreign. This triggered the body to produce immune cells called T cells to target and kill the tumor cells.
🟦 Of the 8 patients whose immune system responded to the vaccine, 7 (87.5%) were still alive 4-6 years after surgery.
🟦 Among the 8 patients who didn’t respond, only 2 (25%) were still alive, with a median survival time of 3.4 years.
