@HM_Passport I've been waiting 16 weeks for my overseas passport renewal meaning I haven't been able to travel home to the UK its costing me a fortune calling overseas to wait over an hour to then get no response. I want to travel home in the next 3 weeks what can I do here?
@B329Leadership WK 16 taught me the importance that signifiers have and how empty signifiers are all around. It showed me how horizontal leadership is prevalent in this approach, ensuring a more collective process #OUB329
@B329Leadership WK15 taught me that there are many type of resistance and how to utilise resistance for leadership. I found Fleming and Spicer's power and resistance framework to be very useful when considering the resistance that could be faced #OUB329
That's a wrap! @OpenUniversity@B329Leadership EMA submitted. Have really enjoyed this module and can't believe how quickly its come to an end - goodluck everyone! Thank you @_NicolaMcDowell for all your feedback and support! Now to finish B392 ๐งฎ๐๐ฑ
@B329Leadership Wk17 showed there are both negative and positive impacts from #socialchange. I learned an important part of leadership in social change is leveraging power to disrupt the status quo & simultaneously considering disadvantaged groups this change will affect #OUB329
@B329Leadership WK3 focused on the relationship between #culture & #leadership Schein & Schein (2016) Lily Pound metaphor helped better understand the 3 levels of culture, as my org goes through an acquisition this is something I will consider as we adapt to a new culture #OUB329
@BethOUB329@B329Leadership Yes exactly there's no definite answer and seems it would be hard to find. With everything that is going on right now I wonder if its actually people and their rights that we are more 'invested' in than a place? Everything is very much global more than localised now
@B329Leadership WK14 #placebasedleadership seems to be effective if people are invested in place, as Jackson & Perry argue with globalization & easy movement is local investment in place waning? It leads me to ask do immigrants have opportunities to show their investment? #OUB329
Was such a great team, with so much effort put in by all! Still can't belive we won #B329LeadershipChallenge the co petition was tough! Well done purple team ๐ ๐ @KerrylNicoll @WM3284@DervalHealy
Do you know if your colleague, neighbour or local batista has the right to vote? Chances are 1 of these do NOT! Our aim is to raise awareness of the topic & call for change and for a start #purplegroup created a frame you can you use on media https://t.co/skRtRHKvca #allowmyvote
@B329Leadership I really enjoyed the #B329LeadershipChallenge our group was very #diverse which allowed us to approach an issue that many of us hadn't considered to be a problem but yet is a global one..suffrage!
@B329Leadership WK12 Game theory was completely new to me and it really highlighted how difficult it is for #leaders to achieve a win-win outcome. The correlation between collaboration and win-win outcomes was the most interesting and something Iโd like to see in my org #OUB329
@B329Leadership in WK3 I learnt how turbulent environments can bring more charismatic political leaders into focus. It also explored how #populism directly relates to turbulent environments and can be the cause of such environment or arise in response to political changes #OUB329
@B329Leadership WK13 done and dusted TMA02 officially submitted! Have really enjoyed the topics of block 2 and found the assignment really interesting as a result. Now a few days off, good luck everyone! ๐ค
@B329Leadership WK11 focus on conflict is something I'd usually avoid but it was a welcome change to consider how #conflict can help #leaders to progress and improve. That saying 'we can't fix what we don't know is broken" came to mind a lot this week #OUB329
