Hey there, I'm migrating to Blue Sky now, so if you want to see my art, you'll have to go there, or to my tumblr.

I'll also be deleting my art posts from here so they don't get scraped. Sorry, everyone!
this evening I just wanted free sketch something sweet, so I decided to draw my lovely Tumblr mutual Jade’s OC, Hanako Shimizu with her lover Jin 💞
*I can’t really color after dark because I have to wear blue blockers, or it really messes up my sleep! 💦
"I have nothing to hide."
False.
You have medical history.
You have financial behavior.
You have location patterns.
You have political views.
You have relationship data.
Privacy was never about hiding crimes.
It was always about owning your life.
This man has been a US citizen for over 30 years! Release him from unlawful detainment. If he has committed a crime, allow him due process as with any US citizen! Let him be judged by a jury of his peers in court, as is the LAW. It is his right and ALL of our rights.
I am calling upon ICE to release beloved leader Salah Sarsour.
I am asking you to do what's right.
We must all have the courage to do scary things when it's the right thing to do.
🙏
Your RAM costs as much as a used car because of this.
Forests and farmland are being turned into data centers because of this.
Home computing will be unobtainable so that videogames can look like a shitty ad for AI generated porn.
DON’T QUIT DON’T QUIT DON’T QUIT DON’T QUIT!!!!!
DO NOT QUIT!!! THEY MAY BE ADVANCING, BUT THEY’RE FACING BACKLASH!!! KEEP CALLING!!! KEEP INFORMING!!! KEEP SPEAKING!!!
This bill, like KOSA, GUARD, SCREEN, and many similar bills, is a Trojan horse attack on your personal privacy and ability to criticize your government. It needs to be defeated immediately.

Tell them to oppose it.
you're about to pay that $14,000 hospital bill. Stop
call the billing department and say five words: "I need an itemized statement"
watch $14,000 turn into $4,200
hospitals don't send you itemized bills by default. they send you a summary. one line. one number. pay this
the itemized version shows every single charge. and that's where the scam falls apart
$78 for a single Tylenol you could buy at CVS for $3 $400 for "room usage" for a room you sat in for 12 minutes $1,200 for "physician consultation"
when a nurse practitioner spent 45 seconds checking your chart $250 for "surgical supplies"
when you got 3 stitches and a bandaid duplicate charges for the same procedure billed twice under different codes
hospitals get away with this because most people never ask. they just pay the summary or let it go to collections and destroy their credit for 7 years over charges that were never real
the call script:
"Hi, I'm calling about account number [X]. I'd like a fully itemized statement showing every individual charge, CPT code, and unit cost. I'm also requesting the chargemaster rate versus what my insurance was billed"
they'll push back. "we already sent your statement." no. you sent a summary. you want the itemized breakdown with procedure codes
once you get it:
step 1: google every CPT code on the bill. compare their price to the Medicare rate for the same procedure. hospitals routinely charge 300-800% above Medicare rates. you now have negotiating leverage
step 2: call back. "I've reviewed the itemized statement. There are duplicate charges on lines [X] and [X]. The charge for [procedure] is $1,200 but the Medicare reimbursement rate is $180. I'd like to discuss a fair adjustment"
step 3: ask about financial hardship discount. every nonprofit hospital has one and many for-profit hospitals do too. most require a simple application. income under $60K-$80K for a family qualifies at most nonprofit hospitals for 40-100% reduction. they won't volunteer this. you have to ask
step 4: if they won't negotiate, say "I'd like to file a formal billing dispute and request review by your patient advocate"
this triggers an internal audit. a different person reviews the charges. errors get caught. bills get reduced
step 5: offer a lump sum. "I can pay $3,800 today if we can settle this account in full." hospitals would rather take $3,800 now than send $14,000 to collections where they'll recover a fraction of the balance
and if it already went to collections? the collection agency bought that $14,000 bill for pennies on the dollar. they'll often take a fraction of the original amount to delete it and walk away happy
you were about to destroy your credit for 7 years over a bill that was mostly inflated charges
five words would have saved you
(i repair credit in 60-90 days, links in my bio)
Think about this for a second...
A random guy accidentally hacked into 7,000 robot vacuums. Live camera and audio feeds inside people's homes.
Now think about every other device in your house.
Your TV has a microphone. Your phone has two cameras that are always on. Your smart speaker is always listening. Your doorbell records everyone who walks by. Your vacuum maps every inch of your home.
All connected to cloud servers. Owned by companies you know nothing about. Storing data you'll never be be able to access.
This vacuum exploit was discovered by ONE guy on accident.
Now imagine what billion dollar intelligence agencies with unlimited budgets and zero oversight are doing...
Privacy doesn't exist. It hasn't for years. Most people will never know how much of their life is already out there or whose hands it's in.
Every "conspiracy theorist" was right again.
Just as a reminder.
Persona got hacked recently.
Their source code also got leaked that they are building databases and biometric profiles on everyone they can get their hands on.
Your governments know, theyre in on it. The billionaires know, theyre in on it. The pharmaceutical companies know, theyre in on it.
The preparations for a massive shift in societal rights are being put in place. Watch for how soon everything you say starts to be used against you and your first amendment gets subtly subverted.
Translation:
We got caught.
We lied to you about getting caught.
We got caught again.
We tried to distance ourself from one problematic company for another problematic company.
We got caught doing that too.
We're going to try again in 6 months and hope none of you notice.
There is a key takeaway from Discord’s “Please don’t be mad at us” press release:
The UK, Australia, Brazil, Europe, and *multiple* US states are pressuring Discord into mandatory ID verification. Their hand is forced.
In some cases like the UK and Australia, they don’t even have the options to estimate your age. They MUST get the IDs.
You need to pay attention to this. There is a global concerted effort to force mandatory ID verification and deanonymize the Internet. This is all packaged under the guise of child safety or national security for moral cover, but what it really is is a complete control over all narrative and the ability to censor, deplatform, silence, and even legally or physically harm people who speak out against the powers that be.
It’s important to note that this is a non-partisan issue. This affects everyone, regardless of political affiliation. Whether you want to tell edgy jokes online or whether you want to protest ICE, these laws put you in danger. This is and must remain a UNITING issue for all people.
You must make your voices heard and reject the big surveillance narrative and the panopticon-ization of society. Every time a law tries to pass, you must vote against. Every time a politician tries to run on this frankly evil rhetoric, you must vocalize your objection.
You must chimp out about this. If the chimp is strong enough, it slows it down.
Privacy is your most important asset, especially in the age of AI and surveillance. It’s your right to speak freely, whether you want to call Trump a moron or whether you want to say secure the border. It’s important that you are protected and free to do so.
Reject mandated ID verification. Use other platforms if forced, keep resisting as long as possible.
