The faction led by CVe Shanmugam, SP Velumani C. Vijayabaskar has decided to support the TVK government. The group is expected to vote in favour of TVK during tomorrow’s floor test in the Assembly.

Sources indicate that CVe Shanmugam and his camp are likely to secure 7–8 Cabinet berths in the new arrangement.
