Hundreds of seafarers and their families joined FSUI in a peaceful march today, highlighting urgent issues faced by Indian seafarers. The deputation submitted to the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, Kolkata, raised 5 critical demands:

⚓ Ratification of ILO Seafarers’ Pension Convention (C071)
⚓ Withdrawal of DGS Order 6/2023
⚓ Protection & repatriation for abandoned seafarers
⚓ Equal access to Shore Leave at all Indian ports
⚓ Halt to third-party manning of DCIL dredgers

Seafarers are the backbone of India’s maritime industry — and their rights can no longer be ignored.

Now DGS on silent 🤫 mode.they only target FOC only.DGS 1st need to clean and investigations own system on urgent basis.
