@Vesperglare@Designatedkitty I was saying this for weeks before it dropped but almost everybody was like:
"nah bro it'll be fine",
"just let people enjoy things",
"If you don't like it then don't play it",
"It totally wont fuck up the lore and worldbuilding",
@79hfg3n3948rhf0 my running theory is that at the end of DS3 (same universe) the sun and moon align which causes a syzygy of tidal forces with the moon being caught in the middle
This explains why all the landmarks are being brought together and the "tidal ridges" that can be seen on the moon.
@NuCaloric The Lunar pyramid architecture is so beautiful and well made. It feels unsettling. You can see hints of forerunner design like how every space is almost made to draw the viewers gaze upward and make them feel small.
The later darkness designs lack of the seriousness and purpose.
@nikos_on_yt They just do. not. get. Halo. Its so funny, every time they brag about shit like this and about how they "finally did it" and it just looks like Artstation concept art for "cancelled UE5 project"
343 give it the fuck up bro you will NEVER EVER GET IT.
@UNi_UNK0WN Acting like MTHN doesn't have an entirely separate team with no connection to destiny.
This was ALL on the D2 team and Bungie middle management and no amount of cope will change that.
@xdNiBoR@AnthroFuturism I'm being absolutely serious when I say that his video "Why I'm obsessed with the moon, and you should be too" is one of the most important pieces of media ever made. If you've seen it you know why.
It is an absolute crime that he isn't more recognised.
@VNanon_ Agreed, There is a huge gulf between having subtlety or unconventional nuance and being a 'blank slate' or 'plot device' which I think a lot of people miss.
@TobiMidnight@K250SX Completely incorrect. N6 was not a 'Blank canvas' nearly as much as you make him seem. He was an obviously decorated character who had an intentionally shrouded backstory, but the absence of something is substance in itself. His entire story revolved around 'passing the torch'
