Most of the discrepancy by race in legal issues boils down to how good of a defense lawyer/firm you have. Money buys lawyers

Inflation was 1.7%, gas was roughly $2.25 and is now over $3

That was rolled back shortly after Biden took over. Gov spending that props up a market causes inflation when it stops.
