Dr. Jain's organ on a chip research can can impact the healthcare landscape in many ways such as bringing the drugs to the patients much faster, easier and ultimately lower the cost of healthcare not just in the United States, but across the globe.
In @DrugTargetRev, the @JainLabTAMU of @TAMUEngineering present their customizable vessel-chip model that replicates the complexity of human vasculature, including branches, aneurysms, & stenoses, for studying vascular disease. https://t.co/OVpqrJoEPp
NEW lab website, new directions and energy! Can't believe my lab is entering its 10th year! As we plan to transition to new challenges, our website is now refurbished:

Check out the latest episode of @TAMU's 'At Ease' featuring engineering research: Organs-on-Chips!
@bmentamu Dr. Abishek Jain and former student Ashley Chuong discuss their groundbreaking work and its applications in studying diseases like cancer and cardiovascular disease.
Join President Welsh for the second podcast episode of At Ease, produced by @KAMUTVFM, as he sits down with Dr. Abishek Jain from @TAMUEngineering and his former student, Ashley Chuong from @EnMedTAMU. They dive into how “organ-on-a-chip” technology is revolutionizing research from ovarian cancer to aging in space!

I am really excited to share our paper in Nature Reviews Bioengineering @natrevbioeng on the integration of #organoids into #organ-on-a-chip systems. This is the future of drug discovery and human disease modelling
63 years of NHLBI support... just remarkable. Dr. Shu Chien's scientific achievements are eclipsed only by his great warmth, decency, and generosity. We bioengineers are fortunate to have him as a leader and role model. Congrats! @ucsdbe
A student asked me for my #definition of #success. That made me thinking. Here it is for me.
Success, for me, is the absence of regrets. It means knowing that I've given my best effort and not feeling guilty about a lack of effort on my part. If I've truly committed myself and done all I can, I can accept the result without feeling bad. Regret only arises when I know there was something lacking in my efforts. Thus, success is about being at peace with my dedication, knowing I've done everything within my power. The outcome does not define my success.
What's your definition of success? 🤔
Fantastic talk by @bmentamu colleague @JainLabTAMU on integrating #AI into the design of organ on a chip technologies at CV Bioengineering Symposium at @MethodistHosp
