@thtrandmguy1287@jarvis1104@LedyardNFLDraft Like for your Brady example, he doesn’t get the chance to throw the INT in OT bc if he throws it in the first half the game doesn’t make it to OT, they would have lost in regulation. The early turnovers put you in a completely different come late game
@thtrandmguy1287@jarvis1104@LedyardNFLDraft Just because you have more time to make it up doesn’t make the play less impactful, we just perceive them that way because they are the most recent thing we’ve seen
@jarvis1104@thtrandmguy1287@LedyardNFLDraft It’s 100% the same. As a Lions fan, the Goff pick 6 didn’t hurt less bc it was in the first half, whether that happened Q2 or Q4, it had an equal impact on the game. Mentally it seems worse late bc there’s just less time to make it up
@Buckeye5107@Blue2Bongo@on3@Hayesfawcett3 He was big when he got drafted, played close to 280 lbs at Michigan which I wasn’t a huge fan of. GB slimmed him down a lot and it made him a lot more explosive
@Buckeye5107@Blue2Bongo@on3@Hayesfawcett3 Gary played about 87% of his snaps at Michigan lined up on the edge. Would sometimes rotate inside in certain sets but he was their starting strong side edge
@Buckeye5107@Blue2Bongo@on3@Hayesfawcett3 3 in the last 5 years between Hutchinson, Kwity Paye, and Rashan Gary. David Ojabo likely would have been the 4th had he not torn his achilles pre draft
@n_thurow I know Bert is liked here but he’s not a first line player. He has put up over 50 points once in his career and the 56 points Perron put up last year isn’t far off Bertuzzi’s career high. Only way to acquire a legit first liner this offseason is through trade
@ChipHooWah@minakimes@Realrclark25 They are talking about positional value. RB and LB are deemed less valuable than positions like OT, CB, WR, and DE bc it’s much easier to find production at those spots with lesser players, and those other positions are more expensive so having good ones on rookie deals is huge
@DETBadger@meergando@MavocMan@MathBomb Branch at 12 would have been slightly early but not bad. Hooker at 18 would have been terrible and thing a lot of people would have been very upset lol I’m happy with it in the 3rd though
@meergando@DETBadger@MavocMan@MathBomb Lions fan here and both players were a reach but Gibbs for sure wasn’t getting out of the top 20, Campbell woulda been 50/50 to make it to the second round. I wish they went in another direction but those players wouldn’t have fallen that far
@Zechy_boi@TheSASBurner@MySportsUpdate Im open to the idea of any of the top 4 QBs if they fall to 6. Doesn’t mean we for sure have to move off Goff next year but gives the team options if he wants an extension. I like him but can’t justify paying him 40-45 million a year
@PaybackTony@DanGrazianoESPN Lol you’re good man, it’s good to get different perspectives that you might not have thought of, that’s why I enjoy reading comments and talking to people
