I'm having a lot of fun running a company as a user researcher. I think it mainly comes down to having a very short feedback loop between learning something about users, and releasing a change to the product based on that learning.

I’ve been hearing a lot from user researchers about using AI to tidy up raw interview transcripts. The biggest problem is that it rewrites and summarises the text instead of just cleaning it up. I’ve been experimenting with a more reliable approach using Gemini Notebook.
