Happy #Yazidi New Year!
May the #Yezidi nation lives in equality and prosperity. I wish that the New Year - Çarşema Serê Nîsanê brings happiness and joy to the community. #Yazidi history and national dignity deserve appreciation and #Yazidi people deserve justice and peace.
Yezidis gather at Lalish to celebrate their New Year. Eggs are boiled and colored, candles are lit, and traditional clothing is worn, honoring nature & fertility. After the 2014 #YezidiGenocide they deserve global support and attention to preserve their unique faith & traditions.
I had the opportunity to engage with @CommissionerHR, Michael O’Flaherty, on the growing influence of anti-rights movements in the region and the need for safeguards to protect minority rights defenders, highlighting cooperation to strengthen protection frameworks.

In #Arevut, #Yezidis are living with the direct consequences of long-term neglect. When a community has no access to basic services, safe transport, quality education, that is policy, that is a system that has decided some residents can be left on the margins - unseen.
The pain of the #Yezidi people is not history - it is ongoing. Until every missing person is found and every grave is dignified, justice remains incomplete. Solidarity with all survivors. #Yezidis#NeverAgain
On #GenocidePreventionDay, we solemnly honor the lives lost and forever changed by the 2014 #YezidiGenocide.
The wound remains open. Nearly 200,000 #Yezidis continue to live in displacement, 2,600 are still missing, and many mass graves across Sinjar await proper exhumation.

Something special is happening today… for the first time.
Many Yezidi children in IDP camps have never had a birthday. This holiday season, you can change that.
Give a moment of joy—sponsor a birthday today.

As an NGO, we refrain from endorsing political candidates and campaigns. Now that the #Iraq election is over, we are very happy to congratulate the entire Yezidi list for advocating for #Yezidi#Yazidi people, and to our friend @murad_ismael , new Member of Iraq's Parliament.
We convened 24 human rights activists from six countries of the wider South Caucasus region to address the rise of anti-gender movements. We shared experiences, strategies, and best practices to strengthen regional resilience and protect #humanrights . #RegionalSolidarity
It was an honor to meet Her Majesty the Queen of the Belgians in Armenia 🇦🇲🤝🇧🇪 — a visit that highlights shared values, sustainability, and friendship.

It was insightful to take part in a discussion on “The Role of Civil Society in Monitoring Rule of Law and Advocating for EU-Driven Reforms”.
In today’s context of shrinking civic space, civil society must remain independent, as rights are never guaranteed, they are defended.
#YezidiGenocide is a continuing crisis. More than 2,600 #Yezidi women, men, and children remain missing to this day. Their families wait for answers, justice, and hope.
Our commitment must be unwavering: to raise awareness, push for accountability, and demand their safe return.
11 years ago, #YezidiGenocide shattered Yezidis lives, homes, and future. Today, over 2,500 Yezidis are still missing, 60-70% of them are women. 150,000 Yezidis are still displaced. As global attention shifts, our responsibility must not.

“If you lack justice and accountability, you cannot say 'never again' means never again because you are not holding anybody accountable for the crimes they actually committed,” explains @Free_Yezidi’s Pari Ibrahim.
