@niinamk But when they are on a tight timescale it's tricky to do PPIE appropriately. But reassuring that not just me that is coming up against a brick wall with this. Seems like there is something obvious i'm missing
I have a project student trying to recruit from socially deprived areas of Scotland. For life of me can't think of a way of phrasing this in the recruitment posters/inclusion criteria. Any advice on how to frame this for participants beyond specifying postcodes for IMD?
@niinamk The project student hasn't come up with an inclusion criteria as it is so tricky to define, but they want to understand how lack of community resources but also things such as health literacy may delay parental awareness and diagnosis of autism diagnosis
@healthpsychleah Yeah, that's the problem as to list the locations makes it seem that not being explicit why those areas are being targeted and the flipside is that he seems offensive to say that want people from socially deprived areas
@drminkster Manger du jambon et du fromage?! Non non non. Le poulet et des frites was the staple of my GCSE French.
Yours sincerely
Dr Jambon De Nouveau
@LNER No, again that is not true. I routinely do this through multiple avenues and it doesnt make a difference where it is requested - so rather than lie, please at least apologise that your service has been out of order for over a week
