@SawyerMerritt So, like Tesla? I don't think that's a good fit for Ford's existing R&D/manufacturing departments. Sounds like either tough times ahead, or this is a loss center for show.
@the_transit_guy Wouldn't a bus system be incredibly cheaper, more flexibility on passenger targets, and just as fast with the right signaling system?
(which, based on comments, this line also does badly/lots of delays)
@sage_stage It's rough! If your spouse takes a break from work, consider teaching internationally! Your experience will get you a lot of offers.
IMO, office work can be rough in a similar way. Fantastic graphic artists don't get paid more at the same firm, though they might become managers.
@wor@grassEcon Anyone using commitment pooling in K-12 schools, kids under 18? I'm interested, and doing it in small ways, but have not yet put the time into it to make tokens and documentation.
@jdotarnold The %s don't work well as worded, could be something like ... "If you *planned* to take 10 flights a day and live long enough to be a candidate for American President, then you'd be more likely to die from asphyxiating on a peanut"
@Allstate these are rough terms just for contacting an agent through your website! Your full terms even cover AI voices.
"Checking this box constitutes my written consent to receive marketing ... made via autodialer...even if my number is registered on a Do Not Call Registry."
@ChuckStoffle@ScrappyCircuits Cool! We are doing games a little bit like this. I wish there was a good way to give lots and lots of examples to my kids. I'm going to see if I can add this short video into a PowerPoint though
@sage_stage Trick question. Admin shouldn't be stating "fairness" as their sole method for assigning coverage duty. It's their job to evaluate the situation and make the best choices for the community. Sometimes that involves trading apples for oranges.
@LeaningEmma Shenzhen is totally safe! Loved biking at night there to avoid the heat, and we would stay out until the wee hours drinking after bike rides
@engineers_feed Screw in one of those circuit detectors. Or, send someone else downstairs to check. Extreme scenario, go down and short the circuit; see which switch blows the breaker.
@BlightedTruth@tetheredtoed1@lrj417 @AMWHMe @karenvaites Oh that's great, I missed that, thanks! So, better study than I thought. Too bad it only showed results for K; to me it speaks to bad training or implementation for G1/2. I think non-teacher tutors can certainly be effective.
@EdTechJeff@karenvaites@lrj417 Yeah seems like a big failure. I would expect tutors to be able to help G1 & G2 kids. Either they didn't care about their work, or the tests didn't reflect what was taught.
