Haven't been out on the bike in months, but as the Isle of Bute sprint triathlon is only 14 weeks away thought better check I remember how to do it! Just a short easy meander around the Shire, but enough to remind how much I love cycling ๐ #aatr#ukcyclechat
Next bit of pre-training training for my 1st triathlon was to see if I can swim. Been years since I've swam in anger - more used to splashing about with the boys ๐ - so tried a serious face to remind me I'm not there for the slides, but instead just look a creep ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ #uktrichat

Ok so I didn't manage to run every day (own fault, got carried away with #MMRun & blew up a tendon), but I did exercise every day. After a week of strength & stretching exercises, & as it's the last day of January, tested ankle with a short dash. Sore but held up #REDJanuary2020
Still maintaining my ankle with RICE, but it doesn't mean I've stopped. Been continuing #REDJanuary2020 with differing strength exercises, a mixture of some yoga & getting overly acquainted with these fellas
@il_mio_pesce@MegaMeterRun I felt it a few days ago, but didnt seem to improve & then felt sore walking, so decided for caution. Although today struggling with the urge to go back out ๐
No #Mmrun today, seems running 23 10ks in 23 days can inflame your posterior tibial tendon. Was only meant to do 4 in a row to keep me ahead of schedule, so would be daft to turn a painful niggle into a full blown injury, thank you for all the support thus far ๐๐ปโบ๏ธ @MegaMeterRun
#MMrun 23 of 100 on #REDJanuary2020 day 23. My pace was slowing, but then I tried another run (almost) home and the pace oddly picked back up. Still dont understand this...... ๐ค #UKRunChat
