@johngetstrong I love the way this is represented. Is it just done in Excel or is there some clever data stuff going on behind the scenes....? And congrats on the progress.
@BanquetRecords hi - I bought the joint vinyl and ticket for @shedseven at Kingston this Thursday. I have the vinyl (what an amazing album - congrats guys) but no ticket for Thursday's gig yet. Will it be emailed to me or posted? Tried emailing Banquet but not reply.
@Alan_Couzens I’m doing some self-research this weekend. Did a full lab lactate test a year ago and since then have been clobbered by long-COVID. Will be fascinating to see what on earth is going on under the covers as I try to increase the intensity. Suspect the lactate is going thru the roof
@tyromper To be fair dude, I'm not sure that all secular music has lyrics that are "POISON"!
Whilst there is some that is of course, there's a lot of uplifting positive music around and always as been.......
@TaylorMod The sheer joy in this reminds me of how it felt to us back in 1988 and 1989. It's slightly anarchic and they're having such a brilliant time.
@brady_h My wife has a MacBook and I have a Dell laptop. Her MacBook is an utter pain in the backside whenever I need to help her with something and once it dies she will go back to a laptop.
@fesshole I lost the hearing in my left ear after an illness 5 years ago. It is really tedious all day and evening but at nights I can sleep wonderfully by simply sleeping on my right side. Don’t hear a thing
@TommyAnna5@SartorialThug I think you just wrote one of those fancy Japanese poems?
“The sun has dried the hailstones
That landed on the outdoor furniture
I think you should be Poet Laureate
@runningido So....having done exactly that at the same age 3 years ago, my one bit of advice would be to pick a realistic target time and check against it every 200m for the first 1.4k. Everybody else will go off like the clappers....after 1.4k, just "race it" - it's only 4 laps by then
@runliftrunlift It’d be fascinating to take a random marathon cohort and put them thru a couple of years of solid consistent z1&2 at decent volume to see what the change in time is.
Wonder what % of the population if they did steady z1/2 for a decade could do 2:45. Bet it’d be startlingly high.
@TheMarieOakes Assuming that you are anti-FGM you should be anti this. It removes pretty much the same set of bodily tissue in boys as FGM does in girls.
There are some medical reasons but outside of those, it is no better than FGM in my opinion.
@lupinrider@Alan_Couzens@feelthebyrn1 Is this a “snapshot” or is there an element of “before and after” in this graph? It looks like a snapshot to me but I might be reading it wrong!
@lupinrider@Alan_Couzens I’ll speak to the place where I got my VO2max tested. Maybe they’ve got a graph plotted or something.
Thanks from another Chem-Enger (UMIST 90-94)!
