CHALLENGES INVOLVED IN GOAT FARMING:
Well Raising goats can be a rewarding experience, but it also comes with its own set of challenges most especially when one fails to follow certain steps. Here are some of the common ones and how best to mitigate each of them;
1. Predators: Goats are vulnerable to predators like dogs, wild animals and sometimes Human Beings 😂😂😂. Ensuring their safety is very crucial. This can be done by providing protection and shelter.
2. Disease management: Goats are susceptible to diseases just like any other animal. Whats good with goats however is they tend to have a few of them. These include parasites, respiratory issues, hoof problems among others. To mitigate this, Regular veterinary check-ups are essential for the survival of your farm.
3. Nutrition and feeding: This is a huge challenge most especially if one has limited space and resources. But also some people don’t have the necessary skills to grow pastures. Yet your entire goat business is dependent on how good you are at pasture management. Therefore, Providing adequate nutrition is vital. Goats require a balanced diet, and their feeding needs change with seasons. Among the feeds you shouldn’t miss to plant are Alfalfa, Lablab, Mombasa Grass, Caliandra, and Sugar nappier among others. (I have Mombasa Grass and velvet beans in case you need them)
Need a goat business plan or raised Goat structure, well, worry not. I’m here to do that for you but at a cost: reach out on +256700675952.
4. Fencing and enclosure: Goats are skilled escape artists, they will find a way to leave the farm and then cause you trouble with neighbors. Or even get stolen from there. Sturdy fencing and enclosures are necessary to prevent them from wandering off.
5. Breeding and reproduction: Without a proper Record keeping, breeding and reproduction can be a daunting task that could lead to inbreeding. Therefore Managing breeding programs, kidding (goat birthing), and caring for young goats can be of help.
6. Marketing and sales: Finding markets for goat products (meat, milk, or fiber) can be difficult, especially for small-scale farmers in rural areas.
It is equally important for you to look for markets before you even start your goat farm business. Don’t forget social media too like me. I’m on facebook, YouTube and X as Denis Duke Uganda. Please go to YouTube and subscribe 😜😜😜
7. Climate and weather: While it’s true goats can adopt to many areas, Goats are sensitive to extreme temperatures, humidity, and weather conditions. Shelter and shade are essential for their survival and wellbeing.
8. Parasite : Regular monitoring and control of internal and external parasites is crucial to maintain goat health. You need to equip your workers with all the necessary skills in identifying sick animals. A Vet should be a call away…
Before I conclude, have you guys heard about @SunguraHouse ? Well it’s a restaurant located along Bukoto Kisasi road dealing in Rabbit meat. But they also have goat, chicken, fish and probably the best pizza you will ever taste. Call them on 0756158334 or order on Glovo.
9: Workers: Did you know that a lot of people have made loses in goat farming because of workers? Well this is one of the main reasons for failure of this business. Ensure you employ skilled people and management team to minimize losses.
These challenges can be overcome with proper planning, knowledge, and experience. Do you have a specific aspect of goat farming you'd like more information on?

My Dad left Nigeria🇳🇬 in his late teens to be educated in the West🇬🇧
After completing his bachelors and Masters in the UK🇬🇧, he created multiple business in the West 🇺🇸🇬🇧and generated more wealth than he could have ever imagined.
Dad brought all his talents and expertise back to Nigeria🇳🇬 with the hopes of creating a World Trade Center/African Wall Street.
When I was born in Nigeria🇳🇬 I was surrounded by wealth, servants, opulence and two loving parents who despite having it all, modeled the importance of hard work, never being a victim and never being satisfied with mediocrity.
In 1987 the Nigerian government🇳🇬 illegally and corruptly stole all of my dad’s assets, including his man made island (Lagoon City) that’s now worth billions, and was renamed to Banana Island (look it up).
While fighting the Nigerian government🇳🇬 in court, he mysteriously died weeks later.
We went from rich to poor overnight.
Mom brought my brother and me to America🇺🇸
It wasn’t easy, as we literally started from the bottom in the Bronx🙅🏾
My brother and I applied what our parents instilled in us at an early age, and despite the plethora of mistakes I made, we both became very successful.
Without the opportunities America🇺🇸 has afforded my family, I’d be nothing. Yeah, America🇺🇸 isn’t perfect. We have our issues, just like every other country on the planet, but America🇺🇸 is one of the handful of places in the world where you can start with nothing, put in the work, and end up at the top.
I love this country🇺🇸, and I’m not ashamed to say it. And the moment I feel otherwise, I’m gonna pack my stuff up, teach my kids a new language and seek life elsewhere.
With that said, #HappyIndependenceDay and thank you to all the service members past and present who have stood in the gap to keep 🇺🇸 free 🫡

Agriculture has evolved beyond cutlass and hoes....
Smart technology, innovation, robotics, and localized sciences are key to any successful agribusiness development. Without it, our production will remain at the lowest.
@Kingkuti_ Now, I can understand what my father told me about women.
He said "No matter how big a woman can be, they always have small sen*se. So, don't always be surprised when a grown-up woman begins to talk or behave like a child. It is part of their nature" 😂

Inserting a cotton bud, pen cover or any other object into your ear can damage the eardrum, ear canal or push earwax further into your ear.
If it's just cleaning, you can use medical grade olive oil or a warm damp cloth to clean your outer ear.
If your ear canal is completely blocked, it is best to consult your doctor or ear specialist because the inner ear in particular is a delicate structure and will require a professional to remove any 'dirt' from it safely or recommend appropriate treatment.
Stop using cotton buds to clean your ears. It can damage your ear drum.
