@ctrlaltrefuel Hey. We’ve currently got a big 300kW hub in Swansea, 2 more ultra-rapid hubs around Newport and Cwmbran and 2 rapid locations. I’ll double check what else planned 🫡
@StephenJBeynon@AntiEVidiots Sadly our cables are air-cooled, but we have installed armoured cable guards with exploding dye at many locations now. Maybe it needs to be stinkier…
On a trip, when you’re picking a spot to charge, assuming they all have the same great amenities/pricing/location, would you pick a charging hub with:
(I asked this a couple of years ago, but curious to know as vehicles are changing 🔌⚡️)
We certainly do! Every day a charger / site is down, we’re losing customers and kWh sold.
Armoured cables, cable alarms, exploding dye, DNA marking, GPS tracking, lower copper content, on-site security and AI-powered monitoring and alerting. We’re trailing and exploring a lot right now.
Though lots of it is a trade off – balancing heavy cables and user experience with protection and deterrents for example.
Whilst it used to be a nice-to-have, it’s now at the top of our list for choosing new equipment too. It’s super important for us, so we’re able to keep sites available to drivers.
@RoamingNorway Would be a huge hit with supermarket delivery services in the UK who shove a refrigerated box on the back.
Loads of E-Transit / Maxus Edeliver / Mercedes Sprinters going the same right now! 🚚
@eV_Newt@KempowerOyj@BeEV_Charging Sorry for this. Had some power module issues this weekend after some especially toasty heavy usage. we’re on it. Any issues, as always, please do share 🫡

Feels like autonomy is coming real fast to London. In the space of a few months, robo-taxi test vehicles are everywhere (not to mention Tesla FSD)🤖🇬🇧
Is this the only AUDI E7X in the UK? 🇨🇳⚡️
Thought these were China exclusive @electricfelix? Strange to see it in a certain Chichester motorsport event car park…
