@DCUEmp_prinzy @NiftyNick4 I’d rather be what we are than be spurs, they’re levels behind the actual big clubs. City n United have a treble, Arsenal the invincibles. Liverpool have most champions leagues. Chelsea have won loads of trophies but no major stand out moment, but still more than spurs ever will

@LewisShelly49 @NiftyNick4 For you to win the europa league, you’d have to have, by your standards, an awful season to qualify for it. That’s the difference in levels between you and spurs.
It’s not the sport though. Not many clubs can afford to waste money like United. Would cripple them for years

@Marshy90 @SensibleGNR Salary cap works in any American sport because no other country plays it. No one ‘professional’ league can offer NBA/NFL money. If premier league puts a salary cap in but Spain don’t. Best players will follow the money. Salary cap wouldn’t work in football

@Marshy90 @SensibleGNR Salary cap in football will never work. They will never be able to get every country to agree to the same cap. Premier league wages at all clubs are so much bigger than most of Europe. If Spain don’t agree to it. Two madrids n Barca would have a free hit at the best players

When it’s the other way and the player wants out the same contract doesn’t protect the club. Club has to pay, player doesn’t have to stay

@MiddleMatthew Pope, Willock, Murphy agree with you, but leave Dan Burn out of it. The other 3 have had shit game after shit game. Burn was one of our best players. He got in the England squad on merit, not luck
