My friend’s young nephew got in trouble from the bus driver for making “too much” noise laughing w. his friends on the way to school because all the other kids sit on their phones disengaged not talking to each other. He was sent to the back of the bus. WTF is wrong with society

Also - we don’t need a decade of neuroscience-backed research on a young generation to tell us why laughter and conversation and play is important. We need common sense and some cojones from the adults in the room to let kids be kids.
