Scotland Men’s Head Coach Steve Clarke has stepped down from his role.
Our most successful National Team Head Coach has called time on his seven years in charge following our participation at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Today was the opening of the new session of the Scottish Parliament with His Majesty, King Charles.
However, questions need to be asked about the anti-British, anti-monarchist poem read out by the National Theatre of Scotland.
Whoever thought that was a good idea, has caused embarrassment for Scotland.
A momentous day in the Scottish Parliament hijacked by ideologues.
I am sorry his Majesty the King was there to see it. We need answers to who signed off on this.
Today we welcomed Their Majesties the King and Queen to the Scottish Parliament as we marked the official opening of the Seventh Session. The Presiding Officer greeted His Majesty the King, who addressed the Parliament as part of an event that included several performances celebrating Scotland's rich culture and heritage.
This was followed by a reception at which Their Majesties met special guests who were chosen to represent constituencies and regions across the country. These "local heroes" were nominated to attend as a special guest of their MSP for making an extraordinary contribution to their community.
The King should not have been forced to endure that nakedly party political performance by the theatre group at the opening ceremony.
It brought down what was otherwise a very dignified opening to the seventh session of Parliament.
Completely shameful
In the presence of the King, our history, customs & the British Empire were slandered - Britain was even called a racist country
It marred what should have been a proud and dignified State Opening of Parliament
Only @reformparty_uk will fight back against this woke nonsense
Great to be out in Larkhall today with our fantastic @ReformUKScot candidate Fiona McDermott.
A great reception on the doors. Vote Reform UK in Larkhall on the 9th of July 🇬🇧🏴
If you want to stand for election here, you should be a British citizen.
However, the SNP have now confirmed that they will bring forward measures to allow foreign nationals to stand in next year’s council elections 😬
Reform UK will oppose this every step of the way.
The UK borrowed almost as much in May 2026 alone (£23.3bn), as it did during the entire 2018/19 fiscal year (£23.5bn).
This is a slow motion disaster and almost no one is talking about it.
A great couple of days at the Royal Highland Show, celebrating the very best of Scotland.
It was great to chat to so many businesses, farmers, organisations and many more who make rural Scotland tick.
Long have we campaigned on rural crime issues in Scotland, in particular those which affect our farming communities. Our thanks go to @JamieLangan_ for raising this issue. The response from the Justice Secretary @neilcgray may not be enough to reassure our rural communities.
Recent figures show that the cost of rural crime rose by 14% in Scotland during 2025, despite corresponding decreases in the rest of the UK.
This is a serious issue affecting every corner of rural Scotland that needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency.
The Inequality Movement in the UK doesn't seem to care one bit about the the slew of existing forces compressing wages & consumption in this country. As long as billionaires (or trillionaires) exist anywhere, even if not in our country, it's evidence that We're Not Doing Enough.
I asked the Scottish Government if it recognises the serious challenges Scottish pig farmers are facing with cheap Spanish pork imports and what they are doing to address this.
In return, I got a non answer to these immediate issues and a call to rejoin the European Union and the cheap imports this entails.
Something else to add to this story: despite the freezing of the Health and Social Care visa last year, overseas care recruitment numbers are flat, as Boriswave students are simply switching into care work to extend their stay in the country.
