BYOK is now live in the GitHub Copilot App!
Works with @ollama, foundry, and any OAI completions or Anthropic compatible messages endpoint. Give it a try today!
@burkeholland Grill-me i so fucking simple, but wow it works i use it every feature add or change and i makes me think every time.....thats the hard part to take decisions ๐
Could be interesting to see user behavior after the new token credits.
Do users use cheaper models, do users use top models in the first period of a month and the closer they get to there limit use smaller or just pay the extra $..like before June
@pierceboggan@burkeholland
This model is insane at design.
I asked GLM 5.2 (left) and Opus 4.8 (right) to build me a landing page and you can't even tell the difference.
GLM cost $0.06 while opus cost $0.49. More than 6x cheaper while being faster + more token efficient.
Another win for open source AI.
Now then Token credit planning is the same as GitHub Copilot but the good news is that Microst will enable there own model and by that maybe, lets hope cheaper

@pierceboggan@intellectronica This is the best news in a long time ....and that will make all the GitHub copilot solution ......way better and hopefully cheaper to use โค๏ธ
