In the 1960s, the Turkish state promoted books like Doğu İlleri ve Varto Tarihi, articles, and academic campaigns claiming Kurds were actually Turks and Kurdish was a Turkish dialect. These views were widely distributed through schools, universities, and state institutions. İsmail Beşikçi

For millennia, Kurdistan has preserved its identity through war, invasion and oppression. Our mountains protected us, our songs carried our heritage, and our people embodied resilience. Nations may be shaped by borders; Kurdistan is shaped by history, land and generations.
I will soon be introducing a bill to give the public a 50% ownership stake in the largest AI companies in America.
This would guarantee that the trillions created by AI are used to improve the lives of all of us — and block oligarch decisions that harm the American people.
"The League of Nations, the United Nations ... these oragnizations with the word "Nations" in their names ... have never safeguarded the rights of all nations, but always taken the side of nations that have oppressed others." International Colony Kurdistan.
"I will remain a Kurd until death."
The phrase was inscribed on a cell wall in Nuqrat al-Salman prison above a bus drawing, symbolizing the forced deportation of Kurds. During Saddam Hussein’s Anfal campaign, over 183,000 Kurds, including women, men, and children, were killed.

Today marks the 89th anniversary of the Dersim massacre (1937–1938).
Turkish military campaign targeted Kurdish Zaza and Alevi communities. Tens of thousands were killed, over 11,000 displaced, villages destroyed, and Seyid Riza executed. Widely documented as genocide.

Today we are here — because silence is not an option.
The Iranian regime has launched repeated drone and missile strikes on Kurdish opposition parties based in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Residential camps. Peshmerga headquarters. Civilian areas.
Today we are here to be the voice of the martyrs of Kurdistan.
Samira Allahyari. Neda Miri. Omid Waisi. Ghazal Moulani. Jalal Rashidi.
And all the martyrs of the recent Iranian regime attacks.
For 47 years this regime has tried to eliminate Kurdish political existence. With assassinations. With executions. With missiles. With drones.
Today we say — loud and clear — your attacks will not silence us. Your drones will not break us.
We are here. We will always be here.
Şehid Namirin. Jin. Jiyan. Azadi. 🖤

On Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, we remember the 1.5 million Armenians murdered by the Ottoman Empire, along with Assyrians, Syriacs, Chaldeans, Greeks, and other Christians.
We stand with those still persecuted or forced from their homelands today.
