Scirotto called his deal with Gainey re: returning to NCAA reffing after one year an incentived "man-to-man agreement," and therefore one the public didn't need to know about. The more details that come out, the worse both he and the mayor look. Fully embarrassing for the city.

Absolutely bonkers if the city hired a police chief while telling him he could also work as a traveling NCAA basketball referee after one year. This isn’t Somerset; it’s a world-class city. That he even asked about eventually returning to reffing should’ve been a giant red flag.
