As I wrote in my own @TorontoStar op-ed on this issue, it's already illegal to openly use drugs on the TTC. What @fordnation is doing is giving transit constables the power to arrest and seize the belongings of people they *think* might have or use drugs. That's called profiling.
@LadyStoneIsBack@SueAnnLevy Calling everyone that has even the most modest of criticism of Israel an antisemite feels like the exact thing they are pointing to.
If every jew converted to samaritanism in Israel, it would not alter the criticism levied against what Israel is doing.
I’m running for City Council in Parkdale—High Park.
I’m running because our neighbours deserve a councillor who has walked alongside them, fought for them, and knows how to turn community demands into real wins at City Hall.

In neighborhoods, “character” is often used as a euphemism for fighting change. But sometimes, if meant earnestly, it can be about design. While taste is subjective, I think this sixplex at 312 Quebec Av is designed well. We can have more affordable housing options and character.
@alanfryermedia I know, it is reprehensible that Israel is committing acts of genocide, and the government won’t call it what it is. What do they fear?
@midnightriderV2 US banks have been allowed to operate in Canada since the 1980’s.
We just have requirements to minimize risk that American banks don’t have.
It’s why there are so many bank collapses in the US, whereas we have had none.
@GasPriceWizard You’ve been an O/G apologist for a while.
I suspect when the carbon tax is eliminated and prices do not match the tax cut, you’ll no doubt be out, maybe even preemptively talking about some disruption at a refinery or some nonsense.
