How does a country make itself safe and productive?
Great Britain did it with Christianity—and by executing or imprisoning the worst males in every generation for hundreds of years.
By the 1960s, the country was so civilized that policeman carried nothing but a nightstick, everybody queued without a second thought, and newspaper boxes were left unlocked on the high street.
Britain had become a so-called high trust society — less euphemistically, an honest society.
Something similar—without the Christianity—transpired in Japan.
What happens to such a country if it forgets how difficult that was to attain?
The Brits found out. And then denied it.

Before Dharmendra Pradhan, we had Nishank Pokhriyal as the Education Minister.
"Science is dwarf before Astrology."

Every sanghi cabinet minister shares a certain level of IQ.
@YSaghal they cannot take nursing dogs for sterilization, they could have vaccinated her on spot. what were they attempting?? relocation is still ILLEGAL !!
@gunduboyinaraj I believe that if one has given up the notion of there being existence of good & evil, then you've already lost the plot & the battle of life. I would suggest you to get out this Atheistic Nihilism. Life is beautiful, but the universe is a battlefield of Good v Evil. Light v Dark
@gunduboyinaraj One cannot run a civilized society based off of continually morphing subjectively derived personal laws pertaining to each and every individual. Civilization is a act of finding order amidst that chaos. Thus, it needs Objective markers of morality.
@Schandillia You expect absolute perfection from a diverse group of youngsters, but will you hold other older generations to the same standard too? They are young, They are human. They are allowed to be imperfect like the people before them.
2016: 25 dogs killed in Chengamanad. 2023: 40 dogs killed in Kalady, 15 “slammed to death.” 2025: 200 dogs allegedly culled buried by a Panchayat in Munnar. @CNTraveler@PaulNicklen#BoycottKerala#BoycottKeralaTourism https://t.co/VuFCpwdLtX
@virsanghvi what do you mean? he is a hero! the events need to be seen as dominos falling one by one in a continuous context, not as dismantled and cherry-picked. And if yoyre doing this deliberately, then you're the problem.
@gunduboyinaraj@UnreservedMERIT By that logic, there can be no good or evil, so then everything is permitted? I am not laying a subjective demarcation of any sort, i am talking about universal truth, universal good. Societies have always been organized under a universally agreed to standard of morality.
