Hey all. I am a bit shellshocked. I cannot quite process the multi-pronged reality of what his victory means for America, its place in the world and so much more that is hard to even fathom right now. I hope eventually our country comes out of this era in one piece and we learn from and study how this all happened.

I am not remotely as tough of a human as many of you are, due to a lot of complex life experiences I have had. I admire so many of you who have given it your all to stand up for what you believe and know is right, against so much hate and so many lies—and all that has gone with it. It has been incredibly draining since 2016—and to have this happen tonight, its just….impossible to believe & process.

Many of you will choose to continue to fight the fight in big or small ways —I wish I had that strength of mind. I don’t. My mental health comes first. Its all going to be way, way too toxic to keep devoting so much time & energy to try to keep up with every insane thing going on like I have for 7.5 years on here, wanting to educate people on the news that mattered most—because its most likely going to get worse & very dark at times for a long period. I apologize profusely that I just don’t have it in me.

Politics and the way it entwines into our lives in the Trump era is just *so* incredibly toxic. I will not post on politics anymore. Going forward, I will focus on fighting anti-semitism, educating people via history as I have done for years. If you want to continue to follow me, that is awesome. If you don’t, I totally respect that and thank you for the love these past years. Complex PTSD sucks and tonight has blown mine up all over again for the first time in several years and I suspect done the same for millions who have experienced it before.

DJT is just too toxic. He has torn the country apart and it will only get much worse before someday it hopefully gets better again. Love and support those around you and who matter you the most. There are still so many amazing people in our midsts in all aspects of life. Be the best human you can be. Speak out when you feel you need to. Its all we can do to try to keep some normalcy in a country I was always proud of. Tonight, I feel shame and embarrassment and hurt for ~50% of us and how we must look to the rest of the world and what is store for our country and our allies and Ukraine and so much more. My god.

I have to just somehow accept this country is just overwhelmed with millions upon millions of people who are so angry and wrapped up in their hatreds that it blinds them to everything else. I want to try to find some peace and joy in whatever areas I can—please do the same. And fight the fight as hard as feels right but also take care of yourselves, all of you.

These are the biggest, Blackest counties in Georgia. A quarter of the state's Black population between them.
