"I grew up on a council estate" is not an excuse for failure. You are sacrificing the future of generations of kids on the altar of your class envy -reversing even Labour's academy reforms.
0% of teachers think you're doing a great job. I'm not here to give you a pat on the back.
I speak for those people whose lives you're destroying and I'll NEVER stop speaking up for them.
@SandDancer9@CrewkerneMan Unfortunately their measure of ‘poverty’ is if a family receives free school meals. In my experience this is not necessarily the case!
@gymkituk_white@SandyofSuffolk Exactly, having worked in a school for 20 years these decisions are only taken with the interests of the children at heart.
@SandyofSuffolk It has nothing to do with the teachers! It’s about the heat generated by 30 children in an enclosed space and their health and safety. Teachers will be directed to do planning etc at home.
They say ‘it happened years ago, leave it alone.’
Tell that to my mum @Telford_Escaper who still wakes up screaming at night.
Tell that to me, who grew up knowing I was created from her abuse.
Grooming doesn’t ‘expire’. Trauma doesn’t disappear. And silence only lets it happen again.
I’m here to break the silence. Because survivors matter. Because justice matters.
My mum was just 13 in this photo after giving birth to me.
