The Lunar Excursion Vehicle 2 (LEV-2 / SORA-Q) has successfully taken an image of the #SLIM spacecraft on the Moon. LEV-2 is the world’s first robot to conduct fully autonomous exploration on the lunar surface.

Lots of people commented on the can of Pocari Sweat flying on Peregrine, finding it odd that a largely government funded space mission would participate in advertising.
The Soviet Union put advertising on their rockets back in 1990, when Tokyo Broadcasting paid to put their journalist on Mir for a week.

Takara Tomy, the maker of Transformers, built a rover (Sora-Q) for a mission that transforms. It's tiny!

When SLIM's hovering above the surface they're going to yeet it (technical term) in baseball config.

After unfolding, Sora will drive around, taking pictures of SLIM.

LEV-1 is one of two tiny separate landers that were ejected 2 km above the surface. It can communicate with Earth directly and also relays signals from LEV-2, a baseball-sized “transformer” rover built by toy company Takara Tomy.
