BREAKING: Kevin McCarthy draws the anger of Veterans after it’s revealed his plan will CUT Veteran benefits by a whopping 22%.

One Congressman, a former Navy Officer, Rep. Chris Deluzio, called the plan “bullshit.”

"Millions of Veterans are going to be screwed over by this plan. They won't get the care they've earned — It's a BS plan!" he said.

Cutting funding by 22 percent would mean 30 million fewer veteran outpatient visits, and 81,000 jobs lost across the Veterans Health Administration—leaving veterans unable to get appointments for care including wellness visits, cancer screenings, mental health services, and substance use disorder treatment.

Cuts to Veterans benefits, earned through blood & sweat and great sacrifices for our country, are outrageous and disgusting.

It’s a betrayal of the military and their families.

Republicans wrap themselves in the flag then push cuts to veterans.
