Was enjoying the @SBCMeeting. Just a reminder that live-streaming is great, but always better to be together in person. Making plans now to be there live next year. #sbc26
@TerriGreenUSA@amandarogers510 My friend (who’s now with Jesus) told me that he went to the ends of the earth and found a new resident sitting by himself. He shared the Gospel with him and was saved! 🙌🏻
@TerriGreenUSA@amandarogers510 One of my favorite stories is teaching them how they could view Acts 1:8. Their Jerusalem - roommate, Judea - their hallway, Samaria - the other hallway, ends of the earth - The dining hall.
Based on Lectures to my Students:
1. Is the desire unshakeable?
2. Is the desire pure?
3. Is the desire enduring?
4. Can you preach and teach?
5. Can you pastor and lead?
6. Are you a soul-winner?

While ensuring your pastor is paid The Proper Wage, make sure your #church pays him in The Proper Way, too. Too many churches still use a “lump-sum” package approach. This #pastorappreciationmonth, learn a better way: https://t.co/tSJ7ww2LbP
POWERFUL: #Texans star QB CJ Stroud, his teammates, and their opponents, the #Bills knelt at midfield post-game and PRAYED TO GOD, together as a group.
The large group of players thanked God for all they have and the blessing of the life they are living.
🙏🙌

If your church seems loud, because it's full of young people. Then, be sure to praise the Lord for that!
Because, a quiet church with no young people in it is deafening.
Dear Pastor,
Thank you for your hard work, mostly unnoticed by your congregation.
Thank you for your consistent prayers, as your regularly intercede for the lost to be saved and the saved to be sent.
Thank you for your sermon preparation, passionately asking God for just the right sermon series for the needs of your congregation and desperately seeking the right interpretation of those hard-to-interpret passages as well as the perfect illustrations to hit it home.
Thank you for your grit, in the midst of the grind of daily ministry.
Thank you that, along with Epaphras, you are relentlessly wrestling in prayer for the members of your congregation to “stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured” Colossians 4:12.
Thank you that you “rejoice in the Lord always” even in the midst of the negativity of that very small percentage of people in your church who don’t like you.
Thank you for your commitment to give the Gospel in every sermon, despite those who complain that you give it too much.
Thank you for your faithfulness to comfort the hurting, counsel the confused, calm the angry, mobilize the youth, instruct the novice and confront the false teachers.
Jesus is watching and he is proud of you.
Keep on going.
