That question was asked to people living in over 50 countries all over the world.

How can you not be romantic about Le Mans?
Stacked hypercar grid with marques from several countries, AMR vs Corvette still rivalry going in GT, Felbermayr family in that blue P2 car.
We just need some rain now. :)

How dumb is this tool.
Chalmers asked why are they changing the tax on shares not just property? He says because shares have been under compensated for the past 2 decades.
So he will now compensate them by increasing tax on them?
@Katherine_deves@DrewPavlou, @PeteZogoulas I'd encourage you guys to visit Moorooka (and other locals, for educational purposes).
The Beaudesert Rd stretch between Hansen st and Ipswich Rd is a real third-world microcosm.
“You’re an island nation with abundant mineral deposits and nearly limitless coal, uranium, and natural gas but very little oil?”
“That’s right, Dave”
“And you’re about to have an energy crisis because you have three weeks of petrol reserves?”
“That’s correct, Dave”
I swear the silly circular logic on migration & home construction is really something.
- Migration is poorly targeted
- It drives more demand for new homes than the ability to deliver supply
- Politicians claim we need more migrants to build houses
25 years of this nonsense
I don't mean to alarm anyone, but I have strong evidence to suggest that the growth in the supply of homes relative to the growth in demand dramatically impacts real rents....
I don't know what to think now, I've been told so long that demand wasn't a thing in Australia.....
"Treasurer Jim Chalmers has declared himself and the government open to tax reform to address intergenerational unfairness driven by the nation’s dysfunctional property market, saying the inability of young people to buy a home is one of Australia’s defining issues."
Then stop actively pumping prices mate, its not rocket science.

@LeagueFreak I think about this a lot. I saw one of their championship games at Lamport in 2019. The match experience was great.
Beer tents along each end of the field heaving, everyone had Wolfpack gear on.
English RL will never live down the scale of lost opportunity there.
I often get told Australia is better than most other places in the world.
No s***.
You couldn't drink the water out of the tap when I was growing up overseas.
I'm still thankful to this day for clean water out of the tap.
But thats not the point though is it, its about comparing the same place against itself over time.
Its here we start to fall down.
We have had 13 years of 0 growth in per capita living standards once adjusted for population composition and labour force participation.
Meanwhile, a cohort of mostly wealthy over 55s is streaking ahead as most others, including their poorer elder compatriots fall behind.
Folks can either choose to acknowledge and confront the reality, or get bushwhacked by it when populism and discontent rises to the point of being inescapable.
