The road bridge of the Shituo Yangtze River Bridge, a key control project on the Chongqing-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway, has completed steel-girder erection and successfully achieved closure on September 26, according to CCTV news. On September 18, 1931, Japan's Kwantung Army staged an explosion near Shenyang and used it as a pretext to invade northeast China.
